What is the difference between a weeding pen and a weeding pick?
A weeding pen has a sharp pin tip and is held like a pen - ideal for lifting the edge of cut vinyl or HTV to start the weeding process. A weeding pick has dual dental-style hook ends, better for detailed work and tight corners. Most sign shops and vinyl installers keep both on hand.
Which hand tools do vehicle wrap and window tint installers need?
Wrap and tint installers rely on the bubble-popping pen for eliminating air pockets under film, the precision weeding knife for trimming and tucking wrap material around panels and edges, and snap-off utility knives for heavier cutting tasks. The plastic tissue paper knife is also useful for cutting release liner without scratching surfaces.
What are print head cleaning swabs used for?
Print head cleaning swabs are used to manually clean the capping station, wiper blade, and surrounding area on wide-format inkjet printers.
