NEPATA JRU 1550 Universal Jumbo Roll Unwinder / Rewinder for Large Format Printers

The NEPATA JRU 1550 is a universal jumbo roll unwinder and rewinder designed to handle rolls up to 1,500 lbs and 60" in width for high-volume large-format printing and finishing production.

Built as a standalone roll-handling platform, the JRU 1550 integrates seamlessly with any large-format printer, laminator, and cutter, without requiring PLC, software, or electronic communication with the printer or finishing equipment.

A dancer bar tension control system regulates the material based entirely on downstream pull, ensuring consistent web tension across a wide range of materials.

Optimized for environments where flexibility, uptime, and fast changeovers are critical, the JRU 1550 features a mobile, modular design with quick electrical and pneumatic connections. Units can be positioned, locked into place, and swapped throughout a production shift without disrupting operations.

In addition to unwinding, the JRU 1550 can be configured to operate as a rewinder.
