Three Machines in One Footprint
Roll-to-Roll: Continuous Web Lamination at 72 ft/min
The ZFP 1650 unwinds the master roll, laminates the full 65" web, and rewinds onto a 3" core. Heated rollers with on-screen temperature control run thermal, heat-assist, or fully cold, so one machine handles thermal film, cold film, self-adhesive film, and self-adhesive vinyl at full width. An electromagnetic brake holds consistent tension from a full roll to the core, eliminating the wrinkles, tunneling, and edge lift that friction-brake laminators produce at speed.
Roll-to-Sheet: Laminate and Cut to Marker or Set Length
In roll-to-sheet mode, the ZFP 1650 laminates the web and cuts it into finished sheets in the same pass, either to printed registration marks or a programmed length. Buy material in economical master rolls and deliver press-ready sheets without a separate sheeter, a second operator, or a second footprint. For trade finishers and packaging converters, that changes the economics of laminated sheet production.
Sheet-to-Sheet: Sheet Lamination with Automatic Separation
Feed printed sheets in, take separated laminated sheets out. The ZFP 1650 laminates individual sheets and automatically separates them at the delivery, producing clean, ready-to-stack laminated sheets. No operator pulling sheets apart by hand, no downstream trimming station.
Industrial Web Handling Built for Uptime
Roll changes are where production laminators win or lose the shift. Pneumatic expanding shafts for 3" cores and quick-release chucks make a full roll change a matter of minutes, and the electromagnetic brake maintains calibrated tension electronically for flat, tight lamination across paper, cardboard, and film from the first foot to the last.

The ZFP 1650 itself started as a bespoke build for a specialized post-press job. When your production calls for a different web width, inline slitting, duplex rewinding, a specific substrate package, or integration with existing equipment, ZFP and Supply55 engineer the machine around it. The custom program includes duplex slitter rewinders up to 75" (1900mm), compact roll-to-roll laminators, roll-to-sheet cutters, and adhesive application systems.
ZFP has laminated for a living since 1997, when it opened in Gdynia, Poland as a trade lamination house, and has built its own automatic laminating lines for more than 25 years, backed by patented adhesive application technology. ZFP still runs its own lamination floor beside the machine factory, so every laminator it builds is engineered by people who have solved the same tension, curl, and substrate problems your operators face.
A bespoke sheet-to-sheet build in production: thermal or PSA film, with a rear rotary cross-cut blade delivering clean, separated sheets.
