ZFP L200 FK Automatic Sheet-Fed Laminator
FULLY AUTOMATIC B2 SHEET-FED HOT LAMINATOR WITH FLYING KNIFE (FK) SEPARATION
The ZFP L200 FK is a complete, fully automatic production line for hot lamination of B2 digital and offset print, with automatic sheet separation regardless of the laminating film on the roll. The FK stands for flying knife: where a burst machine is limited to films that snap cleanly, the flying-knife separator cuts every sheet free, so standard OPP films, difficult-to-burst films, and non-burstable films such as polyester, nylon, and metallised laminates all run on the same machine. ZFP has more than two decades of industrial lamination experience, and every machine is designed, machined, and assembled in-house at its factory in Poland.
The L200 FK laminates B2 sheets up to 21.3" x 29.1" in portrait orientation on stocks from 115 to 400 gsm, and it holds lamination quality even on economy-grade films. An optional B2 stacker sets the machine up for pallet-to-pallet operation, and with the extended feeder and foiling accessories, the same platform laminates and foils sheets over 39 inches in length for book covers, case wraps, and dust jackets.
The L200 FK is available exclusively through Supply55, Inc. in the United States and Canada. Machines, wear parts, installation, operator training, and service are all handled by Supply55.
WHAT SETS THE L200 FK APART
Lamination and sheet separation in a single automatic process, on any thermal film.
Flying-Knife Separation: Any Film, Cut in Motion
Laminated sheets come off the cylinder as a continuous overlapped stream, and the flying knife cuts each sheet free while the web keeps moving. Because sheets are cut rather than burst, the film on the roll no longer decides what the machine can run.
- Cuts difficult-to-burst films and non-burstable films such as polyester, nylon, and metallised laminates, along with every standard OPP thermal film.
- The servo-driven knife cuts in motion and runs quietly, which matters on a machine that sits next to the operator all shift.
- Sheets stack at delivery ready for cutting, folding, or packing, with no hand separation and no second pass.
One Line, One Process, One Operator
Feeding, lamination, and separation run as a single automatic process. Load the pile, set the film on the touchscreen, and finished single sheets come off the other end.

Built Around the Operator
ZFP designed the L200 FK for the person running it all day: ergonomic layout, quiet separation, and controls where the operator works.

- An energy-saving heating control system keeps power draw down between jobs.
Digital Foiling and Sleeking
With the optional foiling rewinder, the L200 FK applies digital foil over toner in the same pass architecture it uses for lamination, and the knife separates foiled sheets cleanly regardless of the carrier. Print the areas to be foiled, run the sheet with foil instead of film, and metallic covers, cards, and invitations come off the same machine that laminates them.
The Proven L200 Platform
The L200 FK is built on the same proven platform as the L200 ST: the top-rear suction feed head with ±0.08" accuracy, the on-the-run adjustable decurl bar, and the thick-wall chrome-plated steel laminating cylinder that holds temperature steady through long runs. The knife changes how sheets separate, not how the machine feeds and laminates.

OPTIONS FOR THE L200 FK
Extended feeder - Available in three lengths (34.6", 37.4", and 41.3"), taking sheets over 39 inches long for book covers, case wraps, dust jackets, and other long-sheet work.
B2 stacker - Stacks finished sheets at delivery for pallet-to-pallet operation.
Foiling rewinder - Adds digital foiling and sleeking, so the machine applies metallic foil over toner as well as laminating film.
Pneumatic expanding film shaft - Speeds up film roll changes and holds the roll true at speed.
Jogger / sheet shaker - Squares the delivered stack as sheets come off the separator.
Deionising bar and nozzle - Controls static on digital stock before it reaches the nip.
Industry 4.0 connectivity - Optional network integration for shops that want it; as standard the machine runs fully standalone with no network or external data exchange required.
ALSO IN THE L200 SERIES
L200 ST
The burst-separation version of the same platform. If your shop runs standard gloss, matte, and soft-touch OPP thermal films, the ST separates them with no blade to maintain, at a factory-rated 1,600 B2 sheets per hour.
L200 PB
The photo book machine: two independent laminating stations in one frame, finishing both faces of the sheet to the same photo-grade quality in a single pass, on stocks to 600 gsm.
L200 EL
The embossing line: single-sided lamination with an in-line embossing station that presses linen, leather, and custom textures into the sheet in the same pass.
