ZFP L200 PB Automatic Sheet-Fed Laminator
FULLY AUTOMATIC DOUBLE-SIDED B2 SHEET-FED HOT LAMINATOR FOR PHOTO BOOK (PB) PRODUCTION
The ZFP L200 PB puts two complete, fully independent laminating stations in one compact automatic line. The PB stands for photo book: the sheet runs through both stations in line, and each face is finished against a polished chrome-plated cylinder, so both sides come off with identical photo-grade surfaces. That is what separates a PB from a standard double-sided machine, which laminates both faces through a single station, the top against the chrome-plated laminating cylinder and the bottom against the rubber pressure roller. Both faces are finished in one trip through the machine, with no flipping the pile and no second run, and it runs single-sided as well when the job only needs one face covered. ZFP has more than two decades of industrial lamination experience, and every machine is designed, machined, and assembled in-house at its factory in Poland.
The L200 PB laminates B2 digital and offset print on sheets up to 21.3" x 29.1" in portrait orientation and stocks from 115 to 600 gsm, with independent control and continuous monitoring of the operating parameters of both laminating units, and it holds lamination quality even on economy-grade films. With the extended feeder and foiling accessories, the same platform laminates and foils sheets over 39 inches in length.
The L200 PB is available exclusively through Supply55, Inc. in the United States and Canada. Machines, wear parts, installation, operator training, and service are all handled by Supply55.
WHAT SETS THE L200 PB APART
Two complete laminating stations in one frame: each face of the sheet is finished against a polished chrome-plated cylinder to identical photo-grade quality.
Two Laminating Stations, Chrome-Plated Cylinder on Each Face
Two complete laminating stations sit in line inside one frame. The first station laminates one face of the sheet against its heated chrome-plated cylinder, the second station finishes the other face against its own, so both sides come off with the same photo-grade surface.
- Each face is finished against its own chrome-plated cylinder, so both sides carry the same surface quality. A one-station double-sided machine backs the second face with a rubber pressure roller instead.
- Lamination and sheet separation happen in one automatic process, with a perforator on each web, so finished stacks come off ready for binding.
- Runs single-sided as well when the job only needs one face covered.
Full Control of Both Units
The touchscreen panel gives the operator full control over the operating parameters of both laminating units, with continuous monitoring on each, so the top and bottom films can run different settings when the job calls for it.
- Roller pressure adjusts pneumatically on both units.
- Stocks to 600 gsm, so heavy cover boards run double-sided in one pass.
- An energy-saving heating control system keeps power draw down between jobs.
Double-Sided in an 8-Foot Footprint
Feeding, double-sided lamination, and separation run as a single automatic process, operated by one person, in a line under eight feet long.

- One operator loads paper and film, then moves on to other work.
Digital Foiling
With the optional upper rewinder for foiling, the L200 PB applies digital foil over toner in the same pass architecture it uses for lamination. Print the areas to be foiled, run the sheet with foil instead of film, and metallic covers and album pages come off the same machine that laminates them.
The Proven L200 Platform
The L200 PB is built on the same proven platform as the L200 ST and L200 FK: the top-rear suction feed head with ±0.08" accuracy, the on-the-run adjustable decurl bar, and a chrome-plated steel laminating cylinder at each station that holds temperature steady through long runs. The second laminating station changes what the machine finishes, not how it feeds and runs.

Extended feeder - Available in three lengths (34.6", 37.4", and 41.3"), taking sheets over 39 inches long for book covers, case wraps, and other long-sheet work.
Pallet-to-pallet operation - Pallet feeding device and automatic stacking of finished sheets for long runs.
Upper rewinder for foiling - Adds digital foiling, so the machine applies metallic foil over toner as well as laminating film.
Pneumatic expanding film shaft - Speeds up film roll changes and holds the roll true at speed.
Jogger / sheet shaker - Squares the delivered stack as sheets come off the machine.
Deionising bar and nozzle - Controls static on digital stock before it reaches the nip.
