The ZFP L210 ST is the high-output B2 machine in the ZFP line, a fully automatic laminating line for high-volume digital and offset print shops. It laminates and separates B2 sheets in one continuous process at up to 115 feet per minute, with an oil-filled heating cylinder that holds temperature evenly across the roller face and a pallet feeder with floor-level feed table as standard equipment. ZFP has more than two decades of industrial lamination experience, and every machine is designed, machined, and assembled in-house at its factory in Poland.

The L210 ST laminates digital and offset print with gloss, matte, and soft-touch OPP thermal films on B2 sheets up to 21.3" x 29.1" and stocks from 115 to 600 gsm, with a 90 gsm option for light stock. The standard pallet feeder pairs with an optional automatic stacker for full pallet-to-pallet operation, so long runs load and deliver without hand-stacking lifts. Extended feeder options take sheets over 39 inches long for book covers and case wraps, and an optional foiling rewinder adds digital foiling so the same machine handles foil embellishment.

The L210 ST is sold and supported in the United States and Canada by Supply55, Inc. Machines, wear parts, installation, operator training, and service are all handled by Supply55.

HOW THE L210 ST RUNS

Load the pallet and set the film; the machine feeds, laminates, separates, and stacks.

Lamination and Separation in One Process

Sheets overlap on the cylinder and come off as a continuous laminated stream, and the in-line separator bursts the stream back into single sheets at full production speed. At up to 115 feet per minute, laminated B2 work stacks at the exit ready for cutting, folding, or packing, with no hand separation and no second pass.

  • Microprocessor control with an integrated touchscreen holds process parameters stable from the first sheet of a run to the last.
  • For OPP, nylon, and polyester films that cannot be burst cleanly, ZFP builds flying-knife separation on the L200 FK.

Pallet Feeding Comes Standard

On the L210 ST, pallet feeding is standard equipment, not an option. The feed table sits at floor level, so a loaded pallet goes straight into position without transferring stock by hand, and sheets feed with overlap accuracy within ±0.08". On a machine running 115 feet per minute, keeping the feeder loaded is the job, and the pallet feeder is what makes that pace sustainable through a shift.

  • An on-the-run decurl bar flattens sheets after lamination without stopping the machine, even on light stock.
  • Add the optional automatic stacker and the line runs pallet to pallet on long jobs.

Oil-Filled Heating for Long Runs

The L210 ST laminates on a chrome-plated steel cylinder with oil-filled heating. The oil carries heat evenly across the full roller face and holds it there, so the temperature the film sees at the edge of a B2 sheet matches the temperature at the center, run after run. Roller pressure adjusts pneumatically from the control panel.

  • Operating range is 158 to 284 F, covering gloss, matte, and soft-touch thermal films.
  • Temperature stays stable through long runs and back-to-back jobs instead of chasing setpoint.

Digital Foiling and Sleeking

With the optional foiling rewinder, the L210 ST applies digital foil over toner in the same pass architecture it uses for lamination. Print the areas to be foiled, run the sheet with foil instead of film, and metallic covers and cards come off the same machine that laminates them, fed by the same pallet feeder.

Standalone Operation

Touchscreen control with remote diagnostic and software support, and fully standalone operation: no network integration or external data exchange is required to run the machine. Industry 4.0 connectivity is available as an option for shops that want it.

OPTIONS FOR THE L210 ST

Extended feeder - Available in three lengths (34.6", 37.4", and 41.3"), taking sheets over 39 inches long for book covers, case wraps, dust jackets, and other long-sheet work.

Jogger or automatic stacker - Squares or stacks finished sheets at the machine exit; the automatic stacker completes pallet-to-pallet operation with the standard pallet feeder.

Foiling rewinder - Adds digital foiling and sleeking, so the machine applies metallic foil over toner as well as laminating film.

Pneumatic expanding film shaft - Speeds up film roll changes and holds the roll true at speed.

DUO option - Adds flying-knife separation alongside the burst separator, so one machine covers both separation methods; which to run depends on the laminating film.

Deionising bar and nozzle - Controls static on digital stock before it reaches the nip.

90 gsm light-stock option - Extends the substrate range below the standard 115 gsm minimum.

Industry 4.0 connectivity - Optional network integration for shops that want it; as standard the machine runs fully standalone with no network or external data exchange required.
