ZFP CT25 Automatic Guillotine Cutter
ROLL-TO-SHEET CUTTER FOR PAPER, VINYL, FILM, AND ENCAPSULATED MATERIAL. RUNS STANDALONE OR INLINE WITH YOUR PRINTER OR LAMINATOR.
The ZFP CT25 is an automatic guillotine cutter that cuts roll-fed material into sheets, to a preset length or to printed marks. It cuts a continuous web into sheets, separates sheets after double-sided lamination, and with the optional web buffer runs inline with a laminator or printer.
A dancer system stabilizes web tension. The cutting unit is servo-driven and synchronized with material transport. Mode and process parameters are set on a Mitsubishi touch screen. Built to order in web widths up to 40". Made in Poland by ZFP.

HOW IT RUNS
Unwind and Web Tension
Stable web transport, repeatable cuts
The roll mounts on a fixed shaft with a mechanical brake. An expanding shaft with an electromagnetic brake is optional. A dancer system compensates for tension changes and takes up slack during unwinding.
Servo-Driven Cutting Unit
Cutting cycle synchronized with the web
The servo-driven knife lands at the programmed length or on the printed mark at production speed. An anti-static bar behind the knife helps the cut sheets stack smoothly.
Cutting Programs and Control
Cut to length or to printed marks
Select the program and set the parameters on the Mitsubishi touch screen:
- Preset length
- Printed mark
- Before or after a mark
- Between double lines
- Removal of the marked area
Standalone or Inline
Inline with a laminator or printer
An optional web buffer lets the CT25 run inline with a laminator or printer. It compensates for speed differences between the machines and keeps the web feeding steadily to the cutter. Without the buffer, the CT25 runs standalone from a roll.
Built to Order
Web widths up to 40"
Web width, cutting length range, unwind type, and the web buffer are specified per machine. A custom design can scale the machine or add equipment for a specific application. Send us your roll widths, sheet sizes, and stocks and we will spec it with the factory.
