ZFP L320 ST Automatic Sheet-Fed Laminator
HEAVY-DUTY B1 LAMINATION FOR HIGH-VOLUME PRINT
The ZFP L320 ST is the heavy-duty B1 machine in the ZFP line, an automatic laminating line for high-volume single-sided hot lamination of paper and board. It laminates and separates sheets up to 29.9" x 41.3" in one continuous process at up to 131 feet per minute, with a pallet feeder and floor-level drop table as standard and an open-sided frame that keeps the feeder controls and pressure roller within reach. ZFP has more than two decades of industrial lamination experience, and every machine is designed, machined, and assembled in-house at its factory in Poland.
The L320 ST laminates offset and digital print with gloss, matte, and soft-touch OPP thermal films on stocks from 115 to 600 gsm, with a 90 gsm option for light stock. The standard pallet feeder pairs with an optional independently controlled automatic stacker for full pallet-to-pallet operation on B1 runs, and an optional foiling rewinder adds digital foiling on the same machine. The DUO separator system is available on this platform, adding flying-knife separation alongside the burst separator.
The L320 ST is sold and supported in the United States and Canada by Supply55, Inc. Machines, wear parts, installation, operator training, and service are all handled by Supply55.
HOW THE L320 ST RUNS
Load the pallet and set the film; the machine feeds, laminates, separates, and stacks.
B1 Lamination and Separation in One Process
Sheets overlap on the cylinder and come off as a continuous laminated stream, and the bursting separator returns the stream to single sheets at full production speed. At up to 131 feet per minute, laminated B1 work stacks at the exit ready for cutting, folding, or packing, with no hand separation.
Bursting covers standard thermal films. For polyester, nylon, and other films that will not burst cleanly, the L320 ST can be ordered with the DUO separator system, which carries a servo-driven flying knife alongside the burst separator and lets the operator switch between the two on the machine.
- Sheets feed with accuracy within ±0.08", and an adjustable decurl bar flattens them after lamination.
- A touchscreen control panel sets and holds the process parameters for the run.
Open-Sided Frame, Electric Heat Under Precise Control
The frame is open on its sides, so the feeder control settings and the pressure roller sit within reach instead of behind panels, and setup and film changes happen at the machine rather than through access covers. Lamination runs on a chrome-plated steel cylinder heated by electric band heaters under precise control across a 158 to 284 F operating range, with roller pressure adjusted pneumatically from the panel.
Pallet Feeding Standard, Pallet to Pallet as an Option
The pallet feeder and floor-level drop table come standard, so B1 stock loads at floor level without raising lifts overhead, and the feed head lifts sheets with four suction points. The optional independently controlled automatic stacker at the machine exit runs on its own control panel with accessories for moving palletized material, completing the pallet-to-pallet configuration for long runs.
Digital Foiling
With the optional foiling rewinder, the L320 ST applies digital foil over toner in the same pass architecture it uses for lamination. Print the areas to be foiled, then run the sheet with foil in place of laminating film.
Standalone Operation
Touchscreen control and fully standalone operation: no network integration or external data exchange is required to run the machine. Industry 4.0 connectivity with operator touch displays is available as an option for shops that want it.

OPTIONS FOR THE L320 ST
DUO separator system - Burst separation and a servo-driven flying knife in one machine, with the operator switching between them at the machine. Standard thermal films run at full burst speed; polyester, nylon, and other films that will not burst cleanly are cut in motion by the knife instead. Which method to run is set by the film, not the job.
Independently controlled automatic stacker - Stacks finished B1 sheets at the machine exit on its own control panel, with accessories for moving palletized material.
B1 jogger / sheet shaker - Squares the stack as sheets come off the machine exit.
Side knife - Trims film at the sheet edge in line.
Foiling rewinder - Adds digital foiling, so the machine applies metallic foil over toner as well as laminating film.
Film roll lifting device - Lifts film rolls into position for loading.
Deionising bar and nozzle - Controls static on digital stock before it reaches the nip.
90 gsm light-stock option - Extends the substrate range below the standard 115 gsm minimum.
